Strategic leadership and product portfolio management You take full responsibility for the European product strategy and the further development of all product portfolios You develop a clear product vision, multi-year roadmaps and prioritize innovation and investment areas You ensure an integrated, market-oriented and profitable product portfolio in all business segments You manage the entire product life cycle with a strong focus on profitability and continuous optimization Market, competition and customer intelligence You analyze relevant market, customer and competition developments in Europe and worldwide. You identify technological trends and translate them into strategic impacts on product strategy You work closely with sales, research and development, production, operation, marketing and service You ensure data-based decision-making in all product-related matters. You present the product strategy to internal and external stakeholders, customers, associations and partners You prepare documentation at management level to support sound decisions and strategic priorities Strategic Initiatives & Transformation You implement strategic initiatives and thus strengthen market position and competitiveness You initiate and establish improvements in product and process landscapes (e.g. product data management, configurators, digital services) You promote a culture of continuous improvement within the product management organization and across interfaces Leadership & team development You lead and develop a diverse European product management team at four locations You create a culture of responsibility, ownership, customer orientation and interfunctional cooperation You develop product managers in all business areas to improve skills and performance Commercial excellence and market presence Plan and implement successful product launches You contribute to strategically important tenders You support and represent the company at customer meetings, committees and trade fairs

Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field Several years of international leadership experience in product management Proven track record in promoting strategic transformation and dealing with complex, cross-functional matrix environments Experience in the management of portfolios of technically demanding products (e.g. commercial vehicles, special vehicles, mechanical engineering) Ability to implement a vision in feasible strategies and measurable results Strong track record in leadership and development of powerful, interdisciplinary teams Excellent communication, cooperation and problem solving skills Strong cost awareness with focus on transparency, efficiency and budget discipline A proactive and resilient way of thinking with strong commitment to continuous learning. Excellent PowerPoint capabilities Flowing English and German skills
