We are looking for a responsible Head of Safety Germany Headquarter (m/w/d), which advises our various business units at the locations in Oberkochen and Munich, as well as strategically designed and implemented measures.

Conducting, managing, designing, assessing and developing all professionals for occupational safety/security engineers in the assigned region within the ZEISS Group Germany (≅7 to 10 employees)

Competent assigned employees to perform complex tasks and serve as functional head of safety officers in the assigned region with regard to occupational and health protection

Comprehensive advice on the management and management of the associated units in the safe and healthy design of work processes and work systems as well as in the legally safe organisation of work protection

Conducting and solving very open and complex tasks and challenges of occupational safety (e.g. behavioural safety, analysis and interpretation of legislation) based on innovative thinking

Support the development and implementation of work and health strategies and optimization plans in conjunction with changes in culture and behaviour

Participation in the development of strategic and operational occupational health and safety targets for the various areas of the associated region within the ZEISS Group Germany

Reports to Senior Security Engineer of the ZEISS Group Germany

Complete study of safety technology, safety and danger prevention or a comparable study with the additional qualification for safety

Further professional qualifications and training in related areas such as health management, fire protection, radiation protection, electrical safety

Knowledge of leading occupational safety standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 45003 and other quality management standards

Comprehensive professional and management experience in the field of occupational safety, of which more than one year in a leadership position

Outstanding leadership qualities, analytical, strategic and communicative skills as well as pronounced lateral leadership skills for both internal and external partners

Wide and comprehensive expertise on theories and methods in the field of occupational and health protection

readiness to travel, within Germany's minimum 25%

Very good knowledge of German and English
