Social education / Social worker (m/w/d), General social service EG S 14 TVöD/VKA | indefinite | Full-time | in part-time

Your task:

The General Social Service (ASD) is the central contact point for children, young people and parents in the youth and family office. From here, holistic support is offered and coordinated. The work in the ASD is carried out in three teams and is conducted in a social-space-oriented manner. Core tasks include:

• Advising children, young people and parents in educational problems
• Observe the protection order for child welfare threats (Wächteramt)
• Social pedagogical diagnosis
• Introduction and accompanying youth assistance measures
• Separation and divorce counselling as well as family court assistance
• Social space work
• support and support unaccompanied minor refugees

Your qualification:

• a completed degree (Diplom / FH or Bachelor) of Social Work / Social Education with State Recognition as Social Education / Social Worker (m/w/d) or
• a completed study (Diplom / FH or Bachelor) of pedagogy / education / childhood education with multiannual professional experience as a social pedagogue / social worker (m/w/d)

In addition, bring:

• a high degree of consulting competence and pronounced communication skills
• Experiences in youth assistance and legal knowledge in youth assistance law are desired
• professional experience in intercultural work is beneficial
• the readiness to actively participate in the readiness to call “child protection” of the Department of Social Services
• Class B licence
• German language skills at level C1
• a non-release advanced guide certificate (release only after adjustment)
