Project Engineer Electrical Engineering (m/f/d)

As Projektingenieur Elektrotechnik (m/w/d), you are involved in the design of electrotechnical systems for overwater vehicles and make a significant contribution to the technical design and evaluation of modern ship systems for the contracting authority. Your tasks at a glance: As part of the project, you take over the design, compilation and specification of electrical installations and systems (such as on-board networks, energy generation and distribution systems, automation, reporting, lighting and cable systems for overwater vehicles). In the processing of studies and project planning projects, you analyse technical requirements, develop suitable solutions and introduce them into the project work in a structured manner. To support decision-making processes, you will participate in the creation of technical evaluations and decision-making templates and participate in the evaluation of technical solutions including: Risk identification and reduction. In exchange with external partners, you take over the selection, technical control and coordination of industrial partners and suppliers. In addition, you will accompany the technical coordination with customers and contractors.

Complete study of electrical engineering, ship operating technology or a similar field As an alternative: a qualification as a technical ship officer (m/w/d) or a completed training as a master (m/w/d) in the electrical engineering trade, in electrical engineering or ship operating technology Professional experience on a shipyard, in a company of the maritime industry or the German Navy desirable Good knowledge of the rules of internationally recognised classification societies and relevant maritime regulations, standards and standards Experience in technical project work, evaluation of electrotechnical systems and in dealing with industrial partners and contractors User knowledge of 3D modeling software (ideally Siemens NX) and in request management (e.g. IBM DOORS) desirable Secure appearance and sovereign communication in cooperation with customers and external partners as well as negotiation experience Ready for occasional, international missions (approx. 10%)
