Team Leader Logistics Plant Obersontheim (m/f/d)

As a team leader for logistics, you are the heart of our material flow in the plant. You combine operational skill with strategic vision to raise our logistics landscape to the next level. As a management personality, you not only design processes, but actively accompany the path to the digital future of our site.

In this position, you are responsible for the entire process chain from material acceptance to warehouse management to production supply and shipping to external customers. Lead, motivate and develop your approximately 25-headed team in the shift model as an appraisal and approachable management personality and ensure a need-oriented personnel planning. You guarantee the supply of the production and the external service providers with a complete intralogistics. Process optimization is made big with you! You continuously analyze the physical flows of goods and booking processes to continuously increase the efficiency of intralogistics processes. In addition, You drive forward digitization, define requirements for a future warehouse management system and accompany its implementation together with IT. Together with your team, you will ensure location development. You actively participate in the further development of the logistics concept and the design of the future warehouse layout. At this interface you work closely with adjacent departments such as purchasing, working preparation and manufacturing as well as with external suppliers.

You have a successfully completed degree (e.g. business management, logistics or economic engineering) or a comparable training/qualification with corresponding practical experience. You look back on multiannual, relevant professional experience in logistics and provide sound knowledge in project management. First leadership experience is a clear plus. You are safe in handling modern IT systems and have very good SAP skills in particular. You communicate safely in German and possess advanced English skills for the exchange in a professional environment. As an integrative and transparent leader, you understand taking your team and promoting an open communication culture. You convince by a sovereign appearance and entrepreneurial thinking and acting. A pronounced process affinity distinguishes your work.
