• Strategic, global purchase of the material handling equipment (e.g. forklift trucks, industrial trucks) and warehouse equipment (e.g. rack systems, warehouse automation)

• Cost optimization and management of the MHE fleet with over 8,000 vehicles worldwide

• Initiation and implementation of global tenders incl. Contract negotiations

• Establishment and maintenance of strategic supplier relations

• Close cooperation with internal specialist departments and stakeholders

• Design, examination and conclusion of contracts in an international environment

• Complete economic studies (Bachelor or Master)

• At least 5 years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in the indirect field

• Excellent knowledge in MS Office and contract management

• German language skills in C2 level and English in C1 level, other languages of advantage

• Embossed communication and negotiation strength

• Self-responsible, structured and independent working

• International readiness for travel
