You build and operate the BigData platforms based on Kubernetes with their systems and integrated security and governance controls, observability and lifecycle management components (backup, restore and disaster recovery). You implement deployment, update and scaling processes using infrastructure, configuration and policy as code as well as GitOps. You take load-level support, analyze technical faults, load, configuration and authorization problems, and control sustainable solutions together with our stakeholders.
Skills required: You have a successfully completed study of computer science or a comparable course of study or a completed, comparable vocational training with several years of professional experience. You have several years of experience in platform engineering or in the construction and operation of platforms based on CaaS incl. Observability, security and compliance as well as their integration into the company. You have good knowledge of cloud platform technologies (especially Kubernetes) and have a good understanding of the principles of the cloud. You bring practical experience in automation and Everything as Code (e.g. Terraform, ArgoCD, IaC, GitOps). Cooperation with development teams is familiar to you; agile work is part of your self-understanding. Learnable skills: You are motivated to learn how to build and operate CI/CD pipelines (e.g. GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), including automated builds, tests, deployments and security scans. You are ready to acquire good knowledge in the operation and security of cloud environments (e.g. AWS/Azure/GCP, IAM, Network Security, Monitoring/Logging with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Loki).
