Project Manager for Research Projects Data Science & AI (m/f/d)

Definition of target and result criteria and creation of time, cost and resource plans for research and development in the context of Data Science & AI Coordination of internal and external experts, including different development teams, experts: in the maritime sector, as well as cooperation partners from universities, research institutions and industry Processing of research results (prototypes, algorithms, analysis tools) and transfer to specific product features of the portfolio Regular exchange with product managers:in different business areas as well as definition of interfaces, prioritization of requirements and ensuring market relevance of AI solutions Conducting reviews, ensuring data and IT security, as well as documentation of progress and deriving risk mitigation measures

Completed studies (MSc/PhD) in computer science, data science, electrical engineering, artificial intelligence or a comparable subject as well as several years of experience in applied AI research or - Development, ideally with maritime applications Detectional experience in the management of interdisciplinary research teams, agile project methods and coordination of external partners Experience in the creation of technical reports, presentations for specialist and management target groups and good knowledge of security and data protection requirements High level of self-sufficiency, responsibility and creativity as well as ability to translate scientific results into market-relevant product features Excellent communication and compliance skills as well as excellent knowledge of German and English
