As an operating IT service provider of the Federal Employment Agency (BA), the IT system house at the main location Nuremberg/Fürth and at various locations throughout Germany with over 100 IT applications, 180.000 connected PC workstations and the associated infrastructure runs one of the largest IT landscapes in Germany and continuously develops them. You will be hired as an IT engineer/in in the IT system house.

The development team D&I of ALLEGRO, consisting of about 25 people, contributes with its work to a high-quality, performant, fault-tolerant and user-friendly application. Tasks and Activities

It is used as a senior professional system engineer with the focus on development and operating environments.

Senior Professional System engineers design, develop, test, optimize and operate software solutions and infrastructures that meet the requirements of the client and user. They work in interdisciplinary teams to create and/or adapt high-quality and reliable software and infrastructures.

Their tasks are the independent implementation of

• Planning, management and maintenance of IT systems and infrastructures
• Analysis of system requirements and performance data
• Development, updating and monitoring of software as well as updating and monitoring of hardware and software
• Identification and elimination of system problems
• Ensuring system availability and security
• Developing company-critical requirements for the IT process ALLEGRO
• Analysis, evaluation and implementation of company-critical software components and complex requirements
• Coordination of tasks and processes e.g. in quality assurance, delivery or incident
• Supporting the CI/CD pipeline within the DevSecOps process

Requirements

• Higher education or comparable qualifications (priorities: computer science, business informatics)
• Multiannual relevant professional experience
