GIS Administrator / Systemadministrator GIS (w|m|d)

As part of our team, you are responsible for the stable operation of the GIS/BIS applications used at the network operator NGN as well as at the associated external sites - from administration to configuration to system provision.

Administration & operation: You manage and operate the applications Smallworld GIS and the Lovion Operating Information System (BIS) - including all relevant interfaces Customizing: You are responsible for the professional adaptation and further development of GIS/BIS applications to operational requirements Requirement management: You analyze new requirements from network operation and implement them structured and solution-oriented Training: You carry out technical training for the departments and thus ensure a competent handling of the systems Updates & Upgrades: You plan and run system updates and upgrades reliably and thus ensure the relevance and stability of applications Project management: You run GIS/BIS projects or subprojects and bring them to success structuredly Support: You are the technical 2nd and 3rd level support and are competent contact point for complex system questions

Qualification: You have completed a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Geoinformatics or a comparable subject GIS experience: You bring practical experience in handling geoinformation systems - ideally with Smallworld GIS or comparable systems Working methods: You work conceptually, systematically and independently - and keep track of complex requirements Conversion strength: You not only convince with ideas, but also reliably bring them to completion in operational day-to-day business Engagement & Process Understanding: You think in processes, act initiatively and actively advance improvements Occasion & team skills: You communicate professionally and convincingly - with specialist areas as well as in the team
