Managing the cloud server infrastructure, including setup, configuration and maintenance of the project's network environment Configuration and maintenance of network components and end devices for research and teaching activities Technical support in the design and implementation of connected systems, experiments and projects in close cooperation with the researchers Support in the selection and procurement of experimental equipment Support in the organisation of online webinars, events, workshops and conferences including video recordings Management of the website and the social media channels of the chair

Complete training as a specialist informatics / IT system electronics or relevant professional experience in cloud and network management Knowledge gained in managing cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, including deployment, configuration and monitoring of cloud services Knowledge of the configuration and maintenance of network equipment to support research and operational requirements Proof of relevant network and cloud certifications Experiences with Kubernetes mobile communication systems (e.g. LTE, 5G) and with open source tools and platforms for monitoring, micro-service mesh management, message brokering, etc. are advantageous Experiences in the selection, installation and maintenance of laboratory equipment are advantageous Professional handling of standard office software (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite) and project management tools Embossed organizational skills with meaning for details and the ability to set priorities and perform tasks efficiently and independently Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing for effective cooperation in an international team
