As part of the program, you develop your skills through individually tailored training modules. During the 24-month specialization phase, we will give you a balanced mix of theory and practice. So that you can fully focus on your professional and personal development, you will receive an indefinite contract from the outset.

Your schedule for the trainee program

During the program, you'll run through the main stations of the raw coffee value chain and get to know the relevant interfaces in the company and beyond. Your schedule includes: Insights into raw coffee cultivation, optionally also in relevant growing countries such as Brazil, Ethiopia, Vietnam or Colombia

Stations in coffee-sensory and coffee-making methods, roasting, recipe management, product development and coffee-making

Quality Management, Controlling / Sales Controlling

Your perspective after the program After successfully completing the Young Professional program, you take a responsible role in raw coffee management. Among other things, the following tasks can be your responsibility: Purchasing Strategy: In the development and evaluation of the Rohkaffee Shopping Strategy

Procurement: You support the sourcing of raw coffee in physical business

Exchange transactions: You support the proper settlement of stock exchange transactions

Market analysis: You continuously analyze the raw coffee market using technical market analyses and fundamental analyses

Product development: You will see new products in line with marketing, private label, export and other business areas with

Quality assurance: You ensure the quality of the cups and the quality of the raw materials through sensory testing, quality assurance measures and contaminant management support

Blend management: You support in ensuring proper blending management, enroll precalculations for raw coffee proveniences and roast coffee recipes and provide relevant data and documents

Interface work: You work with cross-disciplinary projects

You have a successfully completed commercial training and ideally a further education to the business specialist

You have at least 2 years of professional experience or Training in the purchase of raw coffee or in quality assurance

You are ready to train yourself professionally

You have good SAP and MS Office skills and master German and English safely in word and writing; Spanish and/or Portuguese are advantageous

You are passionate about coffee, the international raw coffee trade and bringing travel readiness

You convince by team skills, communication strength, enforcement ability, customer orientation, analytical ability, learning readiness and intercultural competence
