ZEISS Microoptics is a unit of the Photonics & Optics strategic business unit specializing in the development, optimization, mastering, replication and integration of optical applications based on micro-optical and holographic optical elements.

Your duties In your role as team leader material and integration, you have the opportunity not only to introduce your expertise, but also to guide and design a team. In addition, your further tasks include: Technical and disciplinary leadership of a mixed technologist and developer team, including prioritization and control of development activities based on current projects and an agile development roadmap

Capacity planning of existing resources and support in building up necessary resources

Support and support as part of interdisciplinary project and developer teams

Demand planning for various materials based on existing production plants and future production capacities

Communication with internal and external interfaces as part of technical coordination and projects

Complete technical studies, e.g. Diploma in Chemistry or Physics or Electrical Engineering

Long-standing relevant professional experience in film processing machines and equipment for optical applications

Knowledge of material properties and structural properties for plastics, adhesives, varnishes and photoreactive materials

To process and document high competence, tasks and challenges both pragmatically and within the framework of strict project management

Ability to switch ad hoc between topics from day-to-day business, administrative tasks, pre- and serial development requirements and strategic issues

High level of negotiation within the framework of interface communication, professional leadership experience and experience in disciplinary leadership

Flowing language skills in German and English (word and writing) for stakeholder management as well as excellent communication skills that enable efficient cross-team cooperation
