Lead Design Engineer Industrial Furnaces and Thermals (m/f/d)

For drying and crosslinking of nitrile gloves, we develop multi-zone, continuously operated furnace systems. You are responsible for their thermal and mechanical design. Your tasks You design industrial furnaces, heating and circulating air zones as well as air duct and nozzle systems. You will ensure uniform temperature and speed distribution. You calculate heat requirements, pressure losses and thermal expansions. You develop furnace housing, insulations, doors, inspection openings and maintenance accesses. You integrierst burners, heat exchangers, fans, exhaust air and heat recovery. You evaluate CFD results and implement them constructively. You take into account fire protection, condensate formation, energy efficiency and maintenance. You coordinate interfaces to conveyor technology, process engineering and automation. You accompany production, assembly, thermal testing and commissioning.

Studies in mechanical engineering or technicians in energy, heat or process engineering At least eight years of experience with industrial furnaces, dryers or thermal process plants Knowledge of heat transfer, flow technology and thermal expansion Experience with sheet metal, housing and insulation structures Safe handling of 3D CAD; CFD knowledge are welcome Practical and systematic work Monitoring of trials and commissioning
