Route Maintenance Officer at the Braunschweig-Hafen Motorway Maintenance Department (m/f/d)

To support our team in the Braunschweig-Hafen motorway championship, we are looking for you at the next time as a route waiter or route waiter (w/m/d).

The focus of your activity is on monitoring traffic safety and the state of entertainment of roads in motorised use. This includes, for example, the visual control of the inter alia traffic facilities, the roadside area, the light space, the buildings, green areas, work sites and road equipment for damages, dangers or pollution (e.g. in terms of impact holes, growth, oil tracks, obstacles in the transport area). Furthermore, you are responsible for regularly checking the functionality of e.g. Light signal systems, traffic signs and other control and protection devices including logging. The detection of the inadequacies determined in the course of the route control as well as the inclusion of possible. Changes in the road inventory for the annual updating of specific inventory data are also your tasks. In addition, you take over winter services and activities such as e.g. maintenance and maintenance of road equipment and electronic equipment. Your task will be rounded off by general administrative activities.

The optimal prerequisite for this position is a successfully completed training for the roadkeeper or the road guard (w/m/d) or comparable expertise, qualifications and experience. You have the category CE licence and the willingness to carry service vehicles. You show willingness to take over shiftwork in winter and summer services and willingness to call. In addition, you have in-depth knowledge of the relevant regulations such as occupational safety and accident prevention regulations, ASR A5.2, RSA, service booklet for the road service on federal highways in the valid version. That would be desirable: At least 5 years of professional experience in road entertainment.
