Senior Agentic AI Engineer (m/f/d)

Design Agent Architectures: You design and implement scalable multi-agent systems for complex, partially autonomous decision-making and execution processes. Model state and decision logic: You develop structured state machines, planning mechanisms and tool orchestrations for controlled autonomy. Establish evaluation frameworks: You define metrics and test methods for measuring stability, target achievement and error rates of agentic systems. Implement Guardrails: You develop security mechanisms, rollback strategies and control points to limit unwanted system decisions. Ensure production maturity: You transfer agentic architectures into scalable cloud or container environments and integrate them into existing system landscapes.

Education & experience: You have at least 3 years of experience in the development of complex AI systems with productive responsibility in the enterprise context and have a completed study in computer science, artificial intelligence, data science or a comparable technical field. Know-how & expertise: You understand agentic architectural patterns, decision logics, orchestration concepts and basic reinforcement learning principles. Tech-Stack: You work with frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI or comparable orchestration tools as well as cloud and API integrations. Working method: You work systemically, experimentally and with a clear focus on controlability and stability of autonomous systems. KI competence: You have in-depth AI expertise, actively shape their responsible commitment in your area of responsibility and act as an enabler for customers and internally at adesso. Language skills: You communicate safely, accurately and professionally in German and English.
