Data Governance Manager – Asset Management / Energy Technology (m/f/d)

Asset management processes data that are made available through various tools when planning our power grid. The core of your task is the intermediary role between the asset management and IT teams and the determination of requirements of both disciplines with regard to the provision of these data. Together with colleagues from IT, you develop the IT infrastructure in asset management and take over tasks in application management by keeping an overview of applications and development potentials used. In close coordination with key users, users and other business areas, you harmonize applications and interfaces and ensure consistent, user-friendly tool cockins. With your understanding of data governance, you form the interface between application data and our data products, develop data standards and accompany their implementation. You identify relevant data sources and work on the further development of our data quality or its provision.

You have a degree in electrical engineering, energy engineering, renewable energies, data governance, data science, data management, data strategy, or a comparable discipline. On the one hand, you bring knowledge of data governance, on the other hand you have a good understanding of how a substation works and what data are relevant in this context. With your communicative, empathic and structured way, you understand how to moderate at the interface between two worlds (IT and engineers) and bring together the two-sided requirements. You ideally bring experience in the technical documentation of IT systems, applications or interfaces and communicate complex content in a clear and address-oriented manner – both to users and to technical areas.
