Accountant HGB as Head of Finance and Accounting (m/f/d)

Management of financial accounting for several companies in our group – from creditor accounting and debitor accounting to banking and cash management to monthly financial statements Responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual accounts according to HGB and preparation of annual accounts for the entire ARC group Ensuring balance sheet and booking quality in close coordination with tax advisors, auditors and banks Further development and standardization of our financial processes to ensure data quality for controlling and reporting Liquidity planning, payment and cash management – ensure a stable financial basis Active exchange and cooperation with banks for investment Introduction of cost centers and cost centers Advising management in all financial issues and development of strategic KPIs for the department Leadership and motivation of a team from two employees

Completed training (bailure book holder, tax specialist), study of BWL/Finance/Accounting with focus on accounting or similar qualifications Multiannual, well-founded professional experience in accounting – ideally in a medium-sized, internationally active company with corporate or group structures Knowledge gained in the HGB, tax and balance sheet law (including sales tax, secondary books and payment transactions) and practical experience in the creation of monthly and annual accounts and communication with auditors Experience in budget planning and control as well as knowledge in cost center logic and – as a plus – international accounting standards (e.g. IFRS) Very good datev skills and Excel skills required Leadership experience: You know through first or multi-year practice how to guide a team structured, motivated and targeted Analytical skills and critical thinking: You work with hands-on mentality, think entrepreneurially and implement processes reliably, quality-oriented and self-initiatively Communication strength: Very good knowledge of German and good to very good knowledge of English – you communicate with management, tax advisors, banks, international partners and your team. Personality: You are an analytical head that acts responsibly, acts clearly and structured on all levels and is characterized by self-initiative.
