We are looking for a motivated and committed team member for the Chair Secretariat in the field of algorithmics & complexity at the Institute for Theoretical Informatics. The two-member team of the Secretariat is the first point of contact for the activities of the chairs involved and is located in a separate office. Your tasks include: ready for signature preparation of documents organisational support of the chair activities Controlling in the fields of human resources, finance (basic financing and third-party funding projects) and orders, travel costs, teaching and General secretariat tasks, in particular correspondence in German and English and occasional organisation of events

We expect completed vocational training and good English skills. Multiannual professional experience, qualifications as an administrative specialist (w/m/d) or a commercial training are advantageous. Practical experience in higher education and Administrative services are advantageous. The ability to personal, service-oriented communication is central to the position in the team of the Secretariat. The helpful and binding handling of people prepares you joy. You like to work independently, responsibly, reliably and team-oriented, possess organizational talent and the right measure between perfectionism and pragmatism. Very good and tested knowledge of how to use the PC / Mac (especially Microsoft Office, E-Mail, Internet).
