N3 Engine Overhaul Services (N3) is the European competence center for the maintenance and repair of Trent Rolls-Royce engines. The joint venture of Lufthansa Technik AG and Rolls-Royce plc. is located in front of the gates of Arnstadt, in the largest industrial area of Thuringia’s “Erfurter Kreuz”. More than 1300 employees are responsible for 50 international airlines on behalf of Rolls-Royce engines.

Check-In: Tasks

• Assembly work: performing de- and assembly work on engines, modules and assemblies according to requirements
• Measurement technology: performing measurement and testing tasks for the determination of technical parameters according to documentation
• Cleaning & repair: Execution of cleaning work, visual inspections and small repairs on engines and individual parts
• Documentation: Testing and processing of power plant-specific documents

Boarding: Profile

• Training: completed technical training (e.g. aircraft mechanic:in, tool mechanic:in, precision mechanic:in, KFZ mechatronic:in, machining mechanic:in, industrial mechanic:in) or comparable metalworking profession
• Technical understanding: Embossed technical affinity and craftsmanship
• Working method: independent, structured and quality-conscious
• Commitment: High commitment, reliability and team and communication skills
• Flexibility: ready for shift and weekend work
• IT knowledge: Basic knowledge of MS Office
• Language skills: basic knowledge in English
