Your future job:

For our customer thyssenkrupp Marine Systems, one of the leading globally operating system providers for submarines and naval ships, you are a technology manager (m/w/d) in the field of documentation at the Hamburg location.

Your tasks:

• creation of document plans and guidelines for new projects in overwater naval construction based on project-specific requirements and standards and regulations
• Responsibility of document management in the project (initiation, planning, implementation/coordination, control/monitoring, completion), these include the subtasks of the collection, processing, release (internal / external), provision and distribution (internal / external / export control), handover of originals and handling of parapherized documents
• Professional leadership of the associated team members in the project
• Reporting for the responsible project management
• Cooperation with consortial partners and subcontractors
• Work on the tasks of cross-sectional and line rollers according to their requirements and active coordination with interface partners
• Detection and evaluation of risks from document management (internal and external)
• Management of documents of all kinds within projects of overwater naval construction using DM systems
• Cooperation in the development of comprehensive processes and methods in document management in cooperation with the process team
• Introduction of new processes and methods to the project
• Writing requirements for IT landscape for project-specific adaptation needs
• Ensuring compliance with internal standards and external standards (e.g. ISO 9001, MIL-STD)
• Coordination and control of approval processes of technical documents internally and externally
• Support for audits and acceptances by customers and authorities
• Maintaining the project-specific document templates in cooperation with central areas and ensuring the conformity of the documents created in the project

Your profile:

• Complete studies in the field of information management or a comparable qualification
• Complete technical or commercial vocational training with further training in the field of document management
• Professional experience in document management, ideally in the military, maritime or technical environment
• Experience in project management
• Knowledge of how to use common DM tools
• Secure handling of MS-Office, SAP, Siemens Teamcenter and IBM Jazz
• German and English knowledge in word and writing
• Up to 50% remote work possible after consultation with the department
