Our central area of Corporate Procurement was founded two years ago and combines the flexibility of a start-up with the stability of a group. At our locations in Frankfurt and Cologne, we are looking for a motivated and solution-oriented manager of Strategic Purchasing (m/w/d) to strengthen our IT purchasing team. In this role you work directly with the Lead Buyer and support it in all tasks of strategic purchasing. Group management: You support the development of product group strategies for IT subcategories (e.g. hardware, software, travel software). You conduct market and demand analyses to identify optimization potentials. Procurement activities: You conduct tenders and offer evaluations. You support through negotiations with suppliers and the conclusion of framework agreements. Cost and process optimization: You participate in the identification and implementation of savings measures. You agree on similar needs and check the conditions of outsourced services. You advise the departments on specifications and help improve shopping processes. You support digitalization in purchasing. Cooperation with stakeholders: You work closely with the specialist departments to clarify shopping needs and requirements. You support the implementation of the global shopping strategy at local level.

You have a successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering (or a comparable degree course) or a relevant vocational training with IT reference. You bring first professional experience in strategic purchasing in the IT context. You have an analytical mindset and a structured, independent way of working. You have a quick understanding, enforcement, communication and negotiation skills, as well as a solution-oriented and reliable operation. You control the current MS Office applications very well. You speak fluent English in word and writing. You've got knowledge of German. You have knowledge of common purchasing systems (e.g. SAP, Ivalua, Ariba).
