Designated System Safety Engineer (m/f/d)

Fully independent performance in demanding projects (time, budget and quality) using modern methods and tools Take over the responsible coordination of services in the fields of product and environmental safety and compliance with legal/contractual requirements (e.g. analyses or consulting services) Support in identifying the content and objections to ensuring safety and environmental requirements (legal and contractual) and their implementation in the supply phases of projects Coordination and control of the services of experts in the necessary security disciplines within projects and in offer processes Consultation of development and project management on all the above topics, the legal requirements and obligations relating to the respective products Responsibility for carrying out safety analyses and risk assessments with other experts Responsible for creating project-specific system safety plans and impacts on their implementation In the development process, the relevant requirements (product and environmental safety) are analysed, determined, complemented and maintained by further experts, including the support of verification and validation activities Compilation and follow-up of the legal and contractual requirements and requirements relating to system security and summary of the results of the activities carried out in this regard in a report form Coordination of product monitoring activities with regard to the risk analysis and risk assessment and control of relevant action needs Support in the strategic expansion of product safety services and optimisation of product integrity processes Support in the further development of work processes and tools, including the company-wide standardization of products relating to product and environmental safety, participation in internal meetings to further develop these topics

Complete technical studies (e.g. field of electrical engineering, mechatronics, safety technology, aerospace technology, shipbuilding) Long-term professional experience in product safety and/or other safety disciplines, preferably in the military environment Multiannual deepened experience and knowledge in EU conformity processes, training for CE coordinator Knowledge of relevant legal provisions, relevant safety standards, standards and guidelines High process and method knowledge for coordinating and carrying out risk analyses in the safety field, good knowledge of Hazard Tracking Systems and requirements engineering Knowledge of common tools (e.g. DOORS, JIRA) Knowledge of occupational safety, fire protection, functional safety and/or ergonomic analysis Ready to acquire new topics Secure handling of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong analytic conceptual thinking, goal-oriented and solution-oriented thinking and a high understanding of complex, cross-references Service orientation, strong counselling and communication strength German and fluent knowledge of English in word and writing The readiness for occasional missions is assumed.
