Specialist for oversized and heavy transports (m/f/d)

In this responsible position, you support team leadership in technical issues as well as in coordination and coordination within the task area. You take over the transfer of relevant technical information and processing instructions within the team and coordinate technical topics. In addition, you will work with other departments as well as external bodies and thus contribute to smooth processes. An essential part of your activity is the independent processing of requests for large-scale and heavy transport according to § 29 para. 3 StVO i. V. m. §§ 44 and 46 para. 1 No. 2 and 5 StVO. In this context, you evaluate load images, in particular axle loads, axle distances and total weights, and check the requested travel paths taking into account current construction site situations. You process transport operations under weighing different concerns and take into account complex relationships. In particular, you develop solutions for exceptional transport constellations, for example for transporting heavy or large-volume goods such as machines, precast concrete parts, wind power components or steel structures.

You have completed (specialized) higher education in the field of administrative sciences or comparable experience, knowledge and qualifications. In addition, you bring comprehensive legal knowledge in the relevant regulations, in particular in Sections 29 and 46 StVO and the VwV-StVO and adjacent administrative and technical regulations. The safe handling of discretionary decisions, discretionary errors and legal assessment is one of your strengths. You are able to draw up legally binding opinions and traffic regulations. In addition, you have deeper expertise in the field of large-scale and heavy transport, for example in relation to axle loads, structural equality, aerodynamic aspects, alternative drives or special technical configurations.

That would be desirable: You can provide technical data in a professionally sound manner in legal assessments and convince with a high level of competence in the analysis of particularly complex processes and in the development of sustainable solutions with fundamental importance. In addition, you will ideally experience dealing with conflicting complaints, lawyers and economically significant applicants and also act sovereignly and solution-oriented in challenging situations.
