The Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) is the largest university in Baden-Württemberg with around 33,000 students at nine study academies and three campuses as well as the Center for Advanced Studies. The management of the Baden-Württemberg dual university, based in the heart of Stuttgart, takes over central tasks in university administration, academic affairs and IT services. Its task is to advise the university management and the staff of the university in the application and implementation of the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the accompanying legislation. In addition, regular voting meetings with the official data protection officer as well as cooperation in committees and working groups are your tasks. The examination, design and negotiation of data protection contracts complete your field of activity. As a data protection expert, you work at the interface of various stakeholders at the university: bodies, professorship, university administration and public data protection officers. You are involved in a professionally mixed, highly qualified expert team in the field of data protection and information security.

The body requires a degree in law, a degree as an economic lawyer or a comparable qualification as well as good English language skills. Ideally, you already have knowledge and experience in data protection law that you have acquired as far as possible in the public sector.
