Social Pedagogue / Instructor Sewing Workshop (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for our location in Zeulenroda (30-39h/week).

The concept of this project allows you to work the freedom, holistic and creative with the participants. Coaching means that the participants come back to work themselves and thus experience self-reality. This is how gsm – to make it together.

Your tasks

• You give new life and professional perspectives to people who are hard to find in the training or labour market. • You build a trust relationship with the participants and accompany them individually through regular group coachings on labour market topics as well as partly crafted project work. • You promote social coexistence and intercultural exchange and strengthen the self-confidence of participants through creative artisanal actions (sewing area) • In order to make the participants easier to move into the training or labour market, you will form a regional network with companies (e.g. for internships) and social institutions (e.g. debt counselling). • You keep contact with our contacts: inside the Jobcenter and document the progress of your participants

Your profile

• Study or vocational qualification in the social field, e.g. as a social pedagogue, social worker, pedagogue, medical pedagogue/ rehabilitation pedagogue/special education or state-approved educator (w/m/d) • or recognised professional or academic degree • appreciative handling of people in difficult situations • Openness for digital communication (e.g. MS teams, digital coaching platforms) and good self-organization

desirable: • knowledge of sewing as well as pleasure in communicating them
