The S-Payment belongs to the DSV group and is the tactor for all payment topics in the Sparkassen financial group. We recognize trends, create new impulses and advance savings banks with innovative payment solutions – and we have a direct influence on over 45 million end customers. We develop and market payment solutions for both PoS and e- and M-commerce. Among other things, this includes contactless payment with cards and the smartphone (App “Mobile Payment” for Android as well as Apple Pay with the Sparkasse) and much more.

As a Market Analyst (m/w/d) girocard, you are responsible for the analysis and interpretation of market data, trends and business figures. Your focus is to derive relevant insights from complex data volumes and translate them into meaningful reports and recommendations for action for our departments, trade and our partners. The team is looking for your support at Stuttgart or Frankfurt am Main locations.

Analysis & Interpretation: You evaluate transaction, sales and market statistics and recognize relevant developments in the payment sector. Trend & Competition Analysis: You identify new market opportunities, developments in trade and trends in digital payment transactions. Reportings & Presentations: You'll start easily understandable analyses and dashboards with BI tools (e.g. Tableau) for strategic decisions. Business Intelligence & Optimization: You continuously develop our data models and analysis processes. Own Initiative & Search: You are actively seeking new data sources, interesting studies and relevant market analyses to continuously improve our basis of decision. Innovative analysis methods: You bring your own ideas and develop new analysis models to understand complex relationships even better. Cooperation & Consulting: You work closely with internal and external stakeholders and support fact-based action recommendations.

A degree in business informatics, statistics, BWL, data science or a comparable qualification – or relevant professional experience in data analysis. Experience with data analytics, ideally in the payment or trading environment or great interest in working in this area. Knowledge of BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) as well as SQL or other database languages are of advantage, but no need. Joy in making complex data understandable and decision-makers: to support them with clear analyses. Interest in payment, trade and digital trends and a good sense of economic relations.
