Systems/IT Architect Engineer (SA/E) (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the technical architecture and further development of the applications and services in ART Claims. You will develop the technical targets, architectural concepts and sustainable solution designs together with Product Management, Product Ownern and development teams. Your tasks include the transfer of technical requirements into scalable, predictable, safe and economical technical solutions. You control team-wide technical dependencies, integrations and architectural decisions. You establish architectural principles, technical standards and quality, safety and operational stability requirements. The teams are supported by you in complex technical issues, reviews and reduction of technical debt. You co-ordinate technical measures/enablers in the ART and are available to stakeholders for technical questions and topics. New technologies are evaluated by you and you are driving especially suitable AI applications in the Claims environment taking into account data protection, security and regulatory requirements.

Complete study of (economic) informatics, comparable training or relevant professional experience. Multiannual experience in software development, technical design or IT architecture of complex application landscapes. Good knowledge of modern architectural approaches, such as APIs, service-oriented or Microservice architectures, eventing, cloud and container platforms. Experience in the creation, evaluation and communication of architectural concepts, technical targets and decisions. Understanding IT security, data protection, compliance and operational stability, ideally in the insurance or financial environment. Experience in agile cooperation with cross-functional teams, ideally in an ART/SAFe environment. Knowledge and interest in the field of artificial intelligence, in particular on the evaluation and responsible implementation of AI/GenAI applications. Flowing German knowledge in word and writing (min. level B2-C1).
