We from OXG Glas GmbH build and operate a fast and reliable fiber optic network for all over Germany. Over a period of six years, we will supply about seven million households in Germany with glass fibers. We invest up to seven billion euros in standardized broadband solutions and innovative FTTH expansion.

Our DevOps team is part of the central IT area and is responsible for the development and operation of the wholesale platform, one of the key components for the automated processing of fiber orders. Here you actively shape how digitization is implemented at the highest level. We rely on a modern cloud native technology strategy, use current tools and frameworks and work according to agile methods to provide scalable and future-proof IT solutions. Our daily work focuses on cooperation and innovation: Together with Wholesale Product Management, other IT areas, operations, product manufacturers and Architecture & Security, we develop powerful and secure solutions. You play a central role in the development and maintenance of our wholesale platform. You evaluate technical requirements regarding their impact on end-to-end processes as well as S/PRI processes and thus ensure a consistently high quality. With your well-founded know-how in platform operation and TechStack, you coordinate external implementation partners and act as an important interface between business and IT. In close coordination with specialist areas and stakeholders, you develop the product roadmap, reflect the product backlog and prioritise requirements targeted. You are responsible for the smooth operation of the Wholsesale platform, monitors the monitoring and, if necessary, also supports outside regular working hours. Thanks to your technical experience, you can implement smaller change requests independently, quickly and efficiently. You actively contribute to IT cost management and participate in partner management.

You have a completed study of (economic) informatics or a comparable qualification as well as several years of experience in software development and in the operation of modern IT solutions. You have a well-founded knowledge and multi-year experience in the design and development of cloud solutions on AWS, including Microservices, Lambda, RDS, Step Functions, CI/CD, Infrastructure-as-Code and Testing Frameworks. You can control programming languages like TypeScript and use it in the backend. Ideally, you will also have experience in the front-end development (e.g. with React) and in the connection of REST APIs. You feel comfortable in agile DevOps teams and work routined with popular tools like Jira and Confluence. Your working style is structured and solution-oriented, even in complex situations you always keep an overview. You work closely with disciplines and develop practical solutions that create real added value with them. You are convinced by strong communication skills in German and English (C1), team spirit, self-initiative and a real enthusiasm for modern software development, and you are an inspiring personality that goes with others.
