European Tender Manager (m/f/d)

To strengthen our European Commercial Team, we are looking for a European Tender Manager (m/w/d) at the next possible time, which plays a strategically important role and contributes significantly to the sustainable growth of our region.

In this newly created Europe-wide role, you are responsible for the harmonisation and professionalization of our Tender processes as well as the pooling of our shopping activities: Independent control and implementation of Europe-wide tendering processes (end-to-end) Analysis of tender requirements and creation of competitive offers Standardization of tender documents, costing models and pricing structures Close coordination with European sales teams to ensure high-quality and timely offers Coordination and implementation of procurement activities in the field of sea and air freight and complementary services Consolidation and further development of the European & Canadian purchasing strategy (Buying Power) Market and carrier analyses, monitoring of prices, developments and carrier performance Sales Director Europe & Canada supports commercial and strategic initiatives Development of KPIs and reporting structures for long-term performance monitoring and decision support

Take this – Must Have At least 5 years of professional experience in the forwarding or in purchasing / Procurement, ideally in the international environment Funded knowledge in Tender Management / Purchasing (RFQ processes, calculation, submission) Strong analytical skills, pronounced negotiation skills Ability to work effectively in a multinational organization Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Nice to Have Experience in process harmonisation across several countries Background in contract management Experience with digital tender and procurement systems Personal competencies Strong commercial mindset and pronounced organizational ability Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Proactive, structured and solution-oriented operation High self-motivation and joy in developing structures
