Responsible for internal and external audits Compilation of the (half)annual financial statements including the annex and position report according to HGB/RechKredV Review of monthly accounts according to HGB/RechKredV and analysis of essential movements SME for relevant accounting standards, in particular with regard to credit institutions (IFRS & HGB/RechKredV and IDW standards), to ensure that they are applied uniformly throughout the company, including support for projects related to the application of accounting standards Updating local accounting manuals and discussing IFRS changes with the Lloyds Banking Group. Responsible for financial governance issues (e.g. evaluation of process-immanent risks and development of effective controls, implementation of Gap analyses, process documentation) Review and release of bookings and balance sheet voting

Master's degree with the focus, e.g. accounting, auditing, controlling. CA ACA, CIMA preferred. 5 years of experience in accounting and accounting or a Big4 audit firm Very good understanding of accounting standards and regulations (IFRS, HGB). Specific banking accounting expertise is a plus Ability to understand complex financial transactions and assess their accounting treatment Very good knowledge in Excel, Word and Power Point, experience with Oracle and SAP of advantage Flowing German knowledge in word and writing and good English
