Number: MER0003Y9J Investigation of DoE-based ML methods for quality optimization of additively manufactured components taking into account data quality aspects. The aim is the systematic investigation of how the optimization results (component quality) change when different DoE strategies
different ML models
and varying data qualities
are used.

Calculation of deviations between IST geometry and CAD model
Processing and evaluation of data quality
Training and comparison of different ML models (e.g. regression, ensemble methods, possibly neural networks)
Comparison of the determined Optima as a function of DoE and ML approaches
