Operations Banking is the centrepiece of many central banking processes at LBBW - both nationally and internationally. We ensure that payments arrive reliably around the world, customer data is processed correctly and securely, estates are handled professionally and the documentary foreign business – for example accreditation and incassi in international trade – work smoothly. In addition, we control LBBW's international operations units and thus actively participate in our banking processes across borders. The Operations Banking area offers a very practical environment in which you experience how modern payment transactions, international transaction business and efficient back office processes interact in a large bank - concrete, process-oriented and always with direct reference to the customer business. Your tasks: From the 1st day you work on your own tasks in the field of operations banking - and we encourage you. Take responsibility, get yourself in and try something new. Because that's exactly what your trainee program is for. From day-to-day operations to cross-area and cross-departmental projects - we look forward to your support and fresh ideas. You actively participate in our diverse production processes and drive their optimization forward. You support executives in controlling and special tasks. These include change projects or innovative digitization projects. You independently analyze our processes, work closely with our in-house consulting and develop proposals for implementation together. You hold the threads between the parties involved within the bank and our business partners and enrich the team with your helpful and collegial way.

Your profile: A completed degree (Bachelor/Master) with a focus on economics, finance, process management, or a bank-based training with professional higher education (bank business economist:in) form the basis for your entry. You have gained valuable knowledge in the field of process management or in projects through internships, student work or first professional experience. In the selection process you convince with a successfully completed cognitive performance test. You speak fluently German (min. level C1) and English (min. level B2) and score with intercultural competence in international business partners. You bring a great interest in process management and process optimization as well as new technologies. With your structured and conceptual way of working, you always keep an overview and can quickly work into complex issues. You see changes as a chance. You are creative and bring innovative strength to advance new developments with enthusiasm. At the same time, you take increasingly responsibility and actively shape.
