Our Business Unit Global IT & Digital consists of several Centers-of-Excellence (CoE), which will fully address the issues of SAP, infrastructure, cyber security, data analytics and operational technology. The SAP CoE continuously drives implementations, feasibility studies and systematic improvements and sets out the direction for the transition from R3 to S/4 HANA.

As an SAP Architect (m/w/d), we don't expect a classic 9-to-5-job, with interfaces to APAC and Americas, the music can also play in daytime.

Before we go into detail: the basics. 37.5 hours of week | flexible working hours | 1 day / week Office (Cologne) | unlimited permanent employment | Cologne or Eschborn (Frankfurt) | 30 days holiday | salary band: 88.000 € - 111.000 € (by chemical tariff)

Support the global Orion organization by defining commercial and technical requirements for all SAP projects, defining project sizes, budgets and timetables, and guiding the areas of development, integration and base professionally

The definition, maintenance and documentation of the SAP end-to-end architecture, including system landscape, integration points, data flows and security requirements, as well as the development of roadmaps and implementation plans for SAP projects taking into account business priorities and technical feasibility

You develop, maintain and provide SAP security standards in cooperation with the Cyber Security CoE, including an authentication and single-sign on strategy for SAP, designing high-availability, backup and recovery, monitoring and emergency recovery processes for SAP in cloud environments (GCP, AWS or Azure)

The external service provider control in your area is also your responsibility. You work with providers and partners to support the global SAP environment and to select and implement suitable SAP products and services. You are constantly up-to-date through latest SAP technologies and trends, and recommend innovative solutions for the various business areas and requirements

Test phases and pilot projects guide you in interaction with the other SAP CoE colleagues, thereby creating a trusted cooperation with cross-functional teams and interfaces and acting as a specialist expert for SAP topics in the fields of architecture, integration, foundation and development

The basis for successful work in this position is a completed study in the field of information technology (IT) with multi-year practical experience in the SAP architecture, SAP PI/PO incl. HANA DB Support, SAP S/4, SAP CPI, SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, SAP DRC and the SAP Integration Suite

Further technical expertise in the operation of SAP in cloud environments (GCP, Azure or AWS) are required as well as the experienced handling of SAP Concur, SAP SuccessFactors and Active Directory

With your know-how and your self-understanding, you are able to work successfully in the areas of integration, development and SAP-based
