With external sales of around 12.24 billion euros and around 76,000 employees (including self-employed retailers and nearly 3,400 trainees), the EDEKA Minden-Hannover is the largest sales of a total of seven regional companies in the cooperatively organized EDEKA association. Reliablely ensure the stable and secure cloud operation of our Azure environment – including self-healing, backup strategies and security reinforcement. You advise on architectural decisions: scaling, resource sizing and selection of suitable components (e.g. Kubernetes, PaaS services). Future-oriented cloud infrastructures based on Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines are designed by you. You will take care of the cloud security, for example via VNET insulation, access protection and policy governance. You act as an interface to external service providers, internal IT security, DevOps and project teams in migrations and new cloud projects.

You have a degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable. Alternatively, you have completed vocational training in the field of computer science with at least three years of professional experience. You bring well-founded knowledge in containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), microservice architectures and IT security concepts. You have practice dealing with Linux systems, shell scripting and infrastructure deployment. Experience in cloud platforms – especially Microsoft Azure, ideally also AWS (e.g. as part of migrations) will bring you with you. A solid understanding of programming (e.g. in Python) completes its profile, especially for the automation and integration of workflows.
