Systems Analyst DevNet Engineering (m/f/d)

In the DevNet engineering team, you will design Eppendorf's global developer infrastructure and ensure that our software teams can work quickly, securely and efficiently.

You manage and develop infrastructure components of the global developer network and ensure the operational readiness of all relevant systems. As a system provider for CI systems such as GitLab and Artifactory as well as other DevNet components (e.g. ProxMox-VE, Kubernetes, Icinga, OpenSearch), you are responsible for configuration, operation and further development. The administration and control of the DevNet-related authentication systems such as LDAP take you independently and ensure stable and secure access structures. Based on Infrastructure as Code (IaC), you define and manage infrastructure components with Ansible and build a repeatable, automated deployment. Developer end devices can be configured to meet your needs, offer support and training for DevNet users and support teams in using the tools provided. As an interface to the central IT, you ensure a transparent flow of information and coordinate the cooperation between DevNet and the IT departments. In the entire area of responsibility, you look forward to compliance with regulatory compliance requirements (in particular ISO 13485) and strengthen cyber security.

You have a completed training as a specialist:in , a completed Bachelor/Master degree in applied or technical computer science or a comparable qualification. At least three years of experience in the configuration and administration of Unix/Linux-based server and PC systems, as well as in the construction and operation of DevOps architectures, you use to safely operate complex infrastructures. With ansible or similar tools like Terraform, you are familiar with the setup of systems and use infrastructure as code approaches in practice. Useful knowledge of DevOps and GitOps principles to efficiently and reliably design build, test and deployment processes. Experiences in project management and agile methods help you to record, implement and coordinate requirements with the teams involved. In cooperation with internal customers:inside, you desire service-oriented, work results-oriented and structuring technical questions with a clear, conceptual view. You are an open, communicative and initiative personality and you are sure to use your good English knowledge in word and writing in an international environment.
