You are responsible for the training and qualification of employees in welding technology and additive manufacturing processes. You take over the specification testing for applications in the legally regulated field (rail vehicle construction, nuclear, pressure-carrying components, etc.) You are also responsible for the organisation of process and welding tests, in cooperation with the supervisory authorities. The consultation of sales and construction in the production of offers and technical clarifications is also one of your tasks. You take over the drawing examination and support the welding sequence planning. In addition, you will be responsible for the welding processes by customers. The planning, monitoring and optimization of conventional welding processes as well as the implementation and further development of additive manufacturing possibilities are your tasks as well as the development and qualification of new welding strategies for metal-based 3D printing processes. Furthermore, you are responsible for the planning and introduction of new production facilities, focusing on new technologies and processes. Your profile You have completed their studies in engineering, preferably in the field of materials engineering, manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering or comparable. In addition, you have a further education on the International Welding Engineer (SFI / IWE). knowledge of joining technology (MSG welding method; Laser welding) also bring.
