Head of Global OPEX (m/f/d)

As Head of Global OPEX, you take over the global and professional leadership of OPEX managers at the locations and at the same time run the OPEX team in Lengerich as a team leader in discipline. These include employee talks, personnel deployment planning and the development of employees in coordination with the Director and HR. You define the company-wide Operational Excellence Strategy, implement the department strategy in line with the corporate strategy and represent the department in exchange with internal and external stakeholders, including negotiations. You accompany the structured structure of the OPEX task fields in the subsidiaries and link the local OPEX work with global initiatives. For this you regularly travel to the other locations. Analyze, harmonize and standardize core processes across regions and functions, reduce throughput times and process costs and control global improvement and productivity programs with measurable P&L effect. You establish shopfloor management in production so that key figures, challenges and improvement measures are implemented directly transparently and together with the teams. You define global KPIs for measuring efficiency and process quality, report regularly to top management and build a continuous improvisation culture with the qualification of executives and employees in Lean Management, Six Sigma and Kaizen.

You have a successfully completed degree in engineering, economic engineering, production technology, operation management or a comparable qualification. You bring several years of professional experience in a comparable function with leadership experience and have experience in lean production as well as in the management of process optimization programs. You have experience in the implementation of lean or efficiency initiatives with measurable business impact as well as in change management, especially when building new structures and working methods. You have a high affinity for digitalization and have extensive SAP skills, very good MS Office skills and experience in data analysis and KPI control. You have very good knowledge of Lean Management, Value Stream Design, CVP, 5S, SMED and TPM and ideally bring experience as Six Sigma Black Belt. You speak German and English in a safe manner and bring knowledge of occupational safety, environmental protection and hygiene standards.
