Then become part of our team at the Mercedes-Benz plant Rastatt and shape the future of the vehicle surface with us. Here you have the chance to develop your technical and project management skills in a real environment and actively participate in forward-looking projects. As a team of plant and process planning surfaces, we accompany exciting new and remodeling projects along the entire painting process. Our focus is on the integrated E2E plant planning – from the introduction of new series and processes to the further development of existing production capacities. Sustainability plays a key role in this: energy efficiency, water consumption and waste reduction are solid components of our daily work. During your 6-month internship, you actively participate in the day-to-day business, bring your own ideas into action and take responsibilities in an interdisciplinary environment. You get comprehensive insights into the planning, control and implementation of complex projects and can use and develop your organizational skills in a targeted manner. Your tasks with us: Active cooperation in new and remodeling projects of plant and process planning with a focus on application and process technology - here you learn to structure project phases and define milestones

Participation in the processing and coordination of subprojects in the painting, among others in the fields of application technology, wet chemistry and air conditioning - You will develop solutions and accompany their implementation

Implementation, documentation and evaluation of process engineering measurements in the painting – an important component for the Mercedes-Benz vehicle quality assurance and project success

Construction and preparation of new kiln bodies for the verification and protection of drier parameters – here you train your eye for details and process optimization

Support in the implementation, analysis and evaluation of furnace curves in the coating – actively contribute to the efficiency increase

Strategic participation in preparing a multi-million euro structural project with top-notch technology

Continuous studies in the field of electrical engineering, process engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable technical course

Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing for cooperation in an international environment

Safe handling of current MS Office applications (especially Excel and PowerPoint)

Outstanding commitment, sense of responsibility and joy at work in the team

Analytical way of thinking and a structured, solution-oriented and predictive way of working

High level of initiative and independent and reliable work

Curiosity, readiness and enthusiasm for new technical topics and tasks
