Tasks with sense and mind – good reasons to opt for the DRK-KiJu - non-profit society to promote child and youth assistance. As part of the worldwide Red Cross and Red Crescent movement, we operate over 50 facilities with different educational concepts and priorities in the districts Bergedorf, Eimsbüttel, Hamburg-Nord and Wandsbek.

At our GTS location Wolfgang-Borchert-Schule are approx. 178 children aged 5 to 10 years. Our support includes the early and late service and the holiday care. On the other hand, our 11 specialists accompany the school day as part of the whole day. In doing so, the educators support the Teachers' College through reference group work in the vintages and additional offers for teaching. This includes, for example, the design of own courses in various topics.
