Installation, configuration and administration of linux-based server systems, web applications and network components (switches, routers) Monitoring and optimization of our soft and hardware environments for trouble-free system operation Management and modification of existing customer environments including upgrades, security checks, optimization, performance analyses, etc. Innovative development of the entire data center operation and our cloud infrastructure (OpenStack, CEPH)

Completed studies/training in computer science or a comparable profile Very good expertise in various Linux distributions (Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS) Comprehensive experience in the administration and optimization of networks and their security facilities (first) professional experience in the field of Kubernetes, KVM/Docker as well as network technology (routing, switching, loadbalancing) Knowledge in the cloud/hosting environment is also a plus Enthusiasm for new technologies A high level of teamability and solution orientation Regional readiness to travel occasionally to carry out external service appointments (valid driving permit class B required) Very good German knowledge of word and writing as well as good technical knowledge of English
