We are looking for an Musikschullehrerin für Violin (m/w/d) at Musikschule zum 01.11.2026 Part-time, fixed-term with an employment rate of 60%. In the case of a corresponding qualification, it is possible to take over the management of the strike instruments department. At the music school of the city of Ulm are currently approx. 2.800 pupils of about 100 teachers in total about 1,500 hours a year. Teaching takes place at two large school sites, as well as at numerous general schools and daycare centres throughout the city. With outstanding ensemble projects and an extensive event, the music school enjoys high public attention and offers a motivating working environment with a high level of music education. Payment is made by 9b TVöD.

Your tasks: Individual and group lessons in the subject of violin and possibly Viola from Beginner Education to Preparatory Education Preparing students for preludes, concerts and competitions Takeover of projects in the field of class music Working with the design development for school cooperation Designing music school events and their partners Active cooperation in the bodies and specialist conferences of the Music School Willingness to occasionally work also in evenings and weekends

Your profile: completed musical education and/or, if necessary, artistic studies at a Musikhochschule in the subject of violin and in the minor viola own artistic profile high commitment and a wide range of methods for working with children, young people and adults Teaching experience Willingness and competence for cooperation in string class projects Sovereignty and Kindness in Communication very good mastery of the German language in word and writing (level at least. B2)
