Your role In the optics at ZEISS, you will design the strategic development of a technologically demanding environment together with the area management. You provide transparency in numbers, optimize processes and drive central organizational projects. You work closely with development, production and other interfaces, creating the basis for excellent solutions for our customers.

Close cooperation with the field management in the planning and implementation of strategic and operational initiatives in the field of optics

Structured preparation and support of customer scaling with focus on sustainable solutions

Definition of relevant key figures together with the field management and the establishment of a transparent reporting

Preparation of regular evaluations and decision templates as well as participation in budget planning and ongoing financial monitoring

Further development of internal processes, including preparation and follow-up of meetings and workshops, as well as preparation of meaningful management presentations

Control of cross-departmental organisational projects from conception to implementation to rollout with clear time and resource planning

Function as a central interface between field management, internal teams and external partners with focus on smooth communication

Complete university or university degree with technical or scientific focus, ideally with further completion

Relevant professional experience in the development or production of complex systems or processes and in the management of projects

Experience gained in the technical management and coordination of teams and in the application of methods for problem solving and process improvement such as Lean, Six Sigma, REFA or comparable approaches

Knowledge in optical processing processes or comparable precision manufacturing methods are advantageous.

Impressed communication strength, enforcement capacity and strategic, structured thinking capacity as well as joy in cooperation with different interfaces

Very good English skills in word and writing
