Our client is an established trading company focusing on high-frequency traffic situations in Germany. For decades, the company has been operating successful retail locations at central hubs and combines a curated range of media, press, gifts and accessories with service-oriented sales.

With several hundred employees and numerous branches, our client is one of the leading specialists in its segment. The combination of centrally controlled shopping, its own merchandise industry and, at the same time, high assortment competency on site allows an entrepreneurially embossed branch leader role with a large design playroom. The Nuremberg site is one of the largest and most sales outlets in the network and is currently facing further development.

In the course of a long-term succession, we are looking for a strong leader for the branch management (m/w/d).

Total responsibility for the leadership, motivation and development of a team of about 25 employees Active design of stable personnel and guide structures incl. Employee talks, recruiting and building a representation Control of personnel deployment and service planning with the aim of a long-term stable shift system Ensuring sales-strong goods presentation and implementation of key concepts and actions on the surface Analysis of economic indicators and derivation of specific measures to optimize the branch Close cooperation with regional management and headquarters as well as ensuring smooth branch processes

Multiannual leadership experience in the infilialized retail, ideally with teams from approx. 15 employees Embossed sales orientation and feel for high sales presentation Experience in personnel deployment planning, recruiting and employee development Structured, strong and co-operative management personality Safe handling of MS Office and goods management systems Industry knowledge in book or press trade is welcome, but not a prerequisite
