Monitoring and analysis of cloud expenditure to ensure transparency and cost control

Creation and maintenance of automated reports and dashboards for cloud financial management (focus: coordination & preparation)

Identification and coordination of optimization potentials in cooperation with cloud and IT teams

Ensuring compliance with budget requirements, policies and governance requirements

Maintenance and application of tagging strategies for cost tracking and resource allocation

Support for audits and documentation of cloud outputs

Close cooperation with finance, purchasing and IT operations to improve the cloud cost structure

Advising specialist areas for cost-effective use of cloud resources

Support for forecast creation and budget planning for cloud costs

Development and establishment of FinOps processes and standards

Promoting FinOps Mint Set through training and communication with stakeholders

Analysis and Use of Price Models (Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Spot instances)

Support in the design, development and implementation of AI-based solutions, especially with Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio

Successfully completed studies of (economic) informatics, IT management, financial sciences or a comparable discipline.

Experience in cloud cost management and FinOps principles

Knowledge of popular cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Analytical skills and experience with reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)

Basic knowledge of IT governance and compliance

Communication and consulting strength, ability to work with finance, IT and business

Team skills, initiative and joy in cooperation in interdisciplinary teams

Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing
