From now on we are looking for an educator in parttime with 32.5 hours/weekin / social pedagogical specialist (m/w/d) for our family-activating group „Die Adalbert“ in Berlin-Kreuzberg. At a later date we are also looking for educators/social pedagogical professionals (m/w/d) with 30-39 hours/week. When families get into a crisis that is so difficult that living together at home is no longer possible, “The Adalbert” offers eight children in primary school age a temporary place for living and parents support and advice. Your duties As a pedagogical reference person, you will be able to assist the children in the group service reliably and bindingly. You cooperate with parents and other family members as well as with schools, other specialist services and institutions. You work in interlayer service (24-hour services). Your profile We require a professional qualification as a state-recognized educator (m/w/d) or a comparable degree as a social educational specialist (such as childhood education, education, social work), as well as German language skills at level C1. You are experienced in stationary youth assistance and/or in work with psychosocially burdened children from the 6th. Year of life and their families. Their attitude towards parents is open and valuable. You feel ready to be actively and binding in the relationship with burdened families.
