That makes this job interesting for me: In this responsible position, I have a central role in achieving our ambitious goal of incorporating renewable energies. I develop technical and technological solutions for the protection technology in HGÜ and FACTS systems. With this expertise, I accompany our large-scale projects from the early concept finding, which I actively participate in, through the award to a contractor to the realization and handover to the company. My tasks: I work deeply into the technical foundations of the systems and continuously develop my knowledge. The focus is on the overall secondary-technical plant philosophy, which I specify independently and accompany in the implementation of the project. I am the first respondent in the field of technical questions by colleagues who establish secondary technology in HGÜ or FACTS systems on the network. In my concepts, I have different requirements for plant operation, network operation, and data security. I participate in the negotiation of contracts with suppliers and service providers that provide equipment and services in accordance with their specification. In the case of acceptance tests in the factory or in our plants, I monitor compliance with the defined technical principles and represent the interests of 50Hertz.
