Tonic-Engineer (m/f/d)

As a member of a project team, you work to realize innovative and varied intralogistic solutions for our well-known national and international customers. As a (Junior) Software Engineer (m/w/d), you are responsible for creating the WCS Software (Warehouse Control System). This software controls the flow of goods of all necessary transports in an automated warehouse. Your tasks include all control-relevant software topics for the complete automation of our systems: You program the individual requirements of our customers, adapt the User Interface (GUI) to the customer-specific conditions, design interfaces to overlayed customer systems and implement them. You work with different programming languages and tools such as C++, Linux, C#, .NET Framework, Azure DevOps Server, Oracle databases, PL/SQL. You carry out tests remotely or locally with our customers, put the software into operation and accompany the customer to the acceptance. By creating the operator documentation, performing project-specific training and handing over the project to our internal customer service, you complete your project before you commit to the next project. After successful integration, you work closely with the customer, our sales and other internal areas of expertise to understand the technical requirements and specifications and then document them in the form of a duty book and an interface description.

Your basis forms a technically oriented training, a study in the field of electrical engineering or (economic) informatics or a comparable training or training. Whether you have relevant professional experience or are a professional starter (m/w/d), we have individual development opportunities for you. You master one or more programming languages such as C++/C#. Ideally, you bring experience in dealing with SQL-based databases (preferably Oracle). You are ready to travel nationally and internationally, depending on the respective project phase (travel about 30 %). You are happy to bring your communication strength in German and English. You are a reliable team member, but you are also able to do independent work and make decisions.
