Strategic Buyer as Global Category Manager in the Packaging Division (m/f/d)

As a Global Category Manager, you develop procurement strategies, implement them and have a comprehensive look at the market and industry You maintain close relationships with your selected suppliers to ensure efficient supply chains and to guarantee the best prices, payment terms and service levels The verification of supplier services and the recognition and elimination of potential risks such as delivery interruptions, price fluctuations and legal changes are carried out by you In cooperation with internal teams, you bring the procurement strategies into line with our business objectives and ensure compliance with the relevant regulations and guidelines You promote continuous automation and optimization of procurement processes

You have a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Purchasing and Supply Chain Management, Purchasing (m/w/d) or similar with corresponding multiannual experience in (strategic) procurement and supplier management In handling procurement software and tools (e.g. SAP, PowerBI) you are safe You are team players, have leadership skills and communication talent With negotiation skills, organizational and project management skills, you work in a dynamic environment You have language skills in German and English (safe for negotiation)
