Buyer - Perspective Team Leader (m/f/d)

Strategy & implementation: You actively shape the shopping strategy to accompany business growth. This includes the further development of the supplier base by diversification, the construction of dual-sourcing structures and the perspective of the evaluation of best-cost-country-sourcing options. Negotiation & contract management: You conduct price and contract negotiations with national and European suppliers and continue to expand the management of framework agreements. Projects & Digitization: You play a key role in the professionalization of purchasing and play an active role in the introduction of the new APplus ERP system in purchasing – from process definition to go-live. Ideally, you will experience the use of digitalization and AI tools in purchasing. Interface to Technology & Production: As a central contact person in purchasing, you will be in close contact with the development, construction and production. You understand drawings and lists of pieces, identify needs early and secure the timely supply of production. Perspective team management: You take on gradually, within the next 12-18 months, the professional and organizational responsibility in purchasing.

Shopping experience: You master the day-to-day operating business, have several years of professional experience ideally in purchasing a mechanical engineering company and have implemented strategic projects (e.g. product group management, make-or-buy analyses, sourcing projects, supplier development). Leadership potential: You are looking for a job with development perspective and bringing the attitude and potential to lead a small team in a company with direct and short paths. First leadership experience is a plus, your potential is crucial. Technology-Affinity: You know the processes in a technically embossed, producing company, work closely with design and manufacturing. Complex piece lists and technical drawings are for you familiar craftsmen from everyday working in manufacturing mechanical engineering. Personality: You are analytical, structured, negotiating and communicative. You combine strategic vision with a pragmatic, translation-oriented way of working. Languages & IT: You speak fluent German and your English is at least communication-proof in word and writing. The experienced handling of common ERP systems completes your experience.
